The Metairie Park Country Day Cajuns basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Carver Collegiate Academy Rams to 41 in the Cajuns non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cajuns now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Benjamin Franklin for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. Metairie Park Country Day will battle a Falcons team coming off a 70-52 non-league loss to East Jefferson (Metairie, LA). The Falcons record now stands at 4-8.

The Rams (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Kennedy (New Orleans, LA). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Kennedy was nudged by Edna Karr (New Orleans, LA), 81-51, in a non-league contest.
