South Dakota High School Basketball - Hitchcock-Tulare holds off Highmore/Harrold
February 7, 2023: Highmore, SD 57345 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Hitchcock-Tulare Patriots (Hitchcock, SD) and the host Highmore/Harrold Pirates (Highmore, SD), saw Hitchcock-Tulare's basketball squad hold off Highmore/Harrold by a tally of 71-66.
With the victory, Hitchcock-Tulare improves its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Patriots host Iroquois/Lake Preston (Iroquois, SD) to confront the in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 9. The come into the challenge with a record of 6-9. Iroquois/Lake Preston lost 82-58 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Mary (Dell Rapids, SD)
Next up, the Pirates confront the Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Rebels (Forestburg, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 10. Highmore/Harrold will attempt to improve on its 11-5 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 66-49 non-league loss to Bridgewater/Emery (Emery, SD).
