Texas High School Basketball - Shamrock nudges Memphis
February 7, 2023: Shamrock, TX 79079 Shamrock Irish (Shamrock, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Memphis Cyclones (Memphis, TX), 42-39 in a league bout.
With the win, Shamrock upgrades its record to 6-16 on the season. The Irish travel to Wellington (Wellington, TX) to clash with the Skyrockets in a 2A Region I District 2 bout on Friday, February 10. The Skyrockets go into the bout with a record of 19-4. Wellington won 57-43 in their recent league bout against Clarendon (Clarendon, TX)
Next up, the Cyclones clash with the Quanah Indians (Quanah, TX) in a 2A Region I District 2 bout, on Friday, February 10. Memphis will attempt to upgrade on its 3-18 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 18-15 record after their 34-30 league win over Wheeler (Wheeler, TX).
