Louisiana High School Basketball - Sam Houston knocked off by New Iberia

The New Iberia Yellowjackets basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Sam Houston Broncos to 37 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Tuesday.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 25-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southside for a 5A District 3 contest on Friday, February 10. New Iberia will battle a Sharks team coming off a 70-45 league win over Lafayette (Lafayette, LA). The Sharks record now stands at 11-7.

The Broncos (13-11) will now prepare for their contest against Merryville (Merryville, LA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 18-10 record.
