Louisiana High School Basketball - Varnado succumbs to Riverside Academy
February 7, 2023: Angie, LA 70426 The Riverside Academy Rebels topped the host Varnado Wildcats basketball team by a final score of 55-45 in Tuesday's league game.
In their next game, the Rebels face the Cohen Green Hornets (New Orleans, LA) in a 1A District 10 game, on Wednesday, February 8. Riverside Academy will attempt to move on its 6-11 season record.
With the defeat, Varnado moves to 2-16 on the year. The Wildcats travel to GEO Next Generation (Baton Rouge, LA) to face the Tigers in a non-league game on Wednesday, February 8. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 2-10. GEO Next Generation lost 81-60 in their recent non-league game against South Plaquemines (Buras, LA)
