Illinois High School Basketball - Streator overwhelmed by Seneca
February 7, 2023: Streator, IL 61364 The Seneca Fighting Irish basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the host Streator Bulldogs to 45 in the Fighting Irish non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Fighting Irish now sport a 25-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dwight for a Tri-County contest on Friday, February 10. Seneca will battle a Trojans team coming off a 62-57 league win over Roanoke-Benson (Roanoke, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 13-13.
The Bulldogs (14-12) will now prepare for their contest against Plano (Plano, IL). The Reapers come into the non-league contest with a 9-18 record. In their last contest, Plano was routed by Kaneland (Maple Park, IL), 66-37, in a league contest.
