February 7, 2023: Sewickley, PA 15143 In Tuesday's league outing, the Shenango Wildcats (New Castle, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Sewickley Academy (Sewickley, PA), by a margin of 61-27.
The Wildcats (13-6) will now prepare for their outing against Aliquippa (Aliquippa, PA). The Quips go into the WPIAL 2A 1 outing with a 15-6 record. In their last outing, Aliquippa smashed Laurel (New Castle, PA), 64-25, in a league outing.
The now own a 2-17 record. They play next when they travel to South Side for a WPIAL 2A 1 outing on Friday, February 10. Sewickley Academy will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 57-55 league loss to Northgate (Pittsburgh, PA). The Rams record now stands at 6-14.
