February 7, 2023: Lamar, AR 72846 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Lamar Warriors (Lamar, AR) and the visiting Central Arkansas Christian Mustangs (North Little Rock, AR), saw Lamar's basketball squad overcome Central Arkansas Christian by a tally of 62-51.
With the victory, Lamar improves its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Mayflower (Mayflower, AR) to confront the Eagles in a 3A Region 5 challenge on Friday, February 10. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Mayflower lost 86-60 in their recent league challenge against Perryville (Perryville, AR)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Baptist Prep Eagles (Little Rock, AR) in a 3A Region 5 challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Central Arkansas Christian will attempt to improve on its 7-16 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 48-23 league win over Maumelle Charter (Maumelle, AR).
