Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC), 55-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Grimsley upgrades its record to 4-17 on the season. The Whirlies host Page (Greensboro, NC) to play the Pirates in a 4A Conference 55 bout on Friday, February 10. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 11-11. Page lost 58-38 in their recent league bout against Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC)

Next up, the Cowboys play the Ragsdale Tigers (Jamestown, NC) in a 4A Conference 55 bout, on Friday, February 10. Southwest Guilford will attempt to upgrade on its 13-10 season record.
