The Paxton Tigers basketball team (Paxton, NE), was overwhelmed 76-36 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Hershey Panthers (Hershey, NE)

The Panthers now possess a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Patrick's for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 9. Hershey will confront a Irish team coming off a 49-26 non-league win over Dundy County-Stratton (Benkelman, NE). The Irish record now stands at 15-7.

The Tigers (12-6) will now prepare for their battle against Sutherland (Sutherland, NE). The Sailors come into the non-league battle with a 5-13 record. In their last battle, Sutherland trounced Maxwell (Maxwell, NE), 36-35, in a non-league battle.
