Michigan High School Basketball - Homer knocked off by Pennfield
February 7, 2023: Battle Creek, MI 49017 The Pennfield Panthers basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Homer Trojans to 53 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marshall for a Interstate 8 contest on Friday, February 10. Pennfield will meet a Redhawks team coming off a 51-24 non-league loss to Edwardsburg (Edwardsburg, MI). The Redhawks record now stands at 8-9.
The Trojans (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Bronson (Bronson, MI). The Vikings enter the Big 8 contest with a 14-2 record. In their last contest, Bronson was outscored by Lenawee Christian (Adrian, MI), 59-52, in a non-league contest.
