The Springport Spartans basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Homer Trojans to 52 in the Spartans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Spartans now sport a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jonesville for a Big 8 contest on Thursday, February 16. Springport will meet a Comets team coming off a 61-23 league loss to Union City (Union City, MI). The Comets record now stands at 8-11.

The Trojans (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Union City (Union City, MI). The Chargers enter the Big 8 contest with a 3-15 record. In their last contest, Union City ran past Jonesville (Jonesville, MI), 61-23, in a league contest.
