Georgia High School Basketball - Josey overwhelms Thomson

February 7, 2023: Augusta, GA 30901

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Josey Eagles (Augusta, GA) and the visiting Thomson Bulldogs (Thomson, GA), saw Josey's basketball squad wallop Thomson by a tally of 58-28.

With the victory, Josey improves its record to 20-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Putnam County (Eatonton, GA) to confront the War Eagles in a AA Region 4A challenge on Friday, February 10. The War Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 6-14. Putnam County won 52-36 in their recent league challenge against Glenn Hills (Augusta, GA)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Butler Bulldogs (Augusta, GA) in a AA Region 4B challenge, on Friday, February 10. Thomson will attempt to improve on its 17-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 17-6 record after their 62-26 league win over Westside (Augusta, GA).
