Maryland High School Basketball - Whitman thwarts Kennedy
February 7, 2023: Bethesda, MD 20817 The Whitman Vikings (Bethesda, MD) basketball knocked off the visiting Kennedy Cavaliers (Silver Spring, MD), 51-42 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Vikings (9-9) will now prepare for their test against Blair (Silver Spring, MD). The Blazers go into the non-league test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, Blair went down by Wootton (Rockville, MD), 55-42, in a non-league test.
The Cavaliers now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Sherwood for a Montgomery County - 4A East test on Friday, February 10. Kennedy will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 47-27 non-league win over Gaithersburg (Gaithersburg, MD). The Warriors record now stands at 11-7.
