New Mexico High School Basketball - Farmington overwhelms West Mesa
February 7, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87121 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM) and the host West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM), saw Farmington's basketball squad wallop West Mesa by a tally of 48-19.
With the victory, Farmington improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Scorpions host Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Golden Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 10. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 6-7.
Next up, the Mustangs play the Piedra Vista Panthers (Farmington, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 10. West Mesa will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 36-28 non-league loss to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM).
