North Carolina High School Basketball - West Caldwell nips Bandys
February 7, 2023: Catawba, NC 28609 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the West Caldwell Warriors (Lenoir, NC) and the host Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC), saw West Caldwell's basketball squad hold off Bandys by a tally of 50-43.
With the victory, West Caldwell improves its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 10. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 5-14. East Burke won 42-33 in their recent league challenge against West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC)
Next up, the Trojans play the Bunker Hill Bears (Claremont, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 10. Bandys will attempt to improve on its 14-6 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 13-7 record after their 43-41 non-league win over Newton-Conover (Newton, NC).
