The Central Valley Falcons (Shasta Lake, CA) basketball felled the visiting Lassen Grizzlies (Susanville, CA), 51-43 in Wednesday's league test.

The Falcons (6-20) will now prepare for their test against Yreka (Yreka, CA). The Miners go into the Northern test with a 13-14 record. In their last test, Yreka thwarted Anderson (Anderson, CA), 68-47, in a league test.

The Grizzlies now own a 8-18 record. They play next when they host West Valley for a Northern test on Friday, February 9. Lassen will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 68-47 league win over University Prep (Redding, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 20-7.
