Georgia High School Basketball - Jenkins County fells McIntosh County Academy
February 7, 2024: Millen, GA 30442 Jenkins County War Eagles (Millen, GA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA), 43-31 in a league bout.
With the win, Jenkins County upgrades its record to 13-10 on the season. The War Eagles travel to Portal (Portal, GA) to clash with the Panthers in a A D2 Region 3 bout on Friday, February 9. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 9-14. Portal won 36-35 in their recent league bout against Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA)
Next up, the Buccaneers clash with the Montgomery County Eagles (Mt. Vernon, GA) in a A D2 Region 3 bout, on Friday, February 9. McIntosh County Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-18 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 22-1 record after their 54-43 league win over Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA).
