Maryland High School Basketball - Meade tops North County
February 7, 2024: Glen Burnie, MD 21061 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Meade Mustangs (Fort Meade, MD) and the host North County Knights (Glen Burnie, MD), saw Meade's basketball squad knock off North County by a count of 39-29.
With the victory, Meade upgrades its record to 5-10 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Northeast (Pasadena, MD) to play the Eagles in a Anne Arundel County challenge on Friday, February 9. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-17. Northeast lost 61-33 in their recent league challenge against Glen Burnie (Glen Burnie, MD)
Next up, the Knights play the Arundel Wildcats (Gambrills, MD) in a Anne Arundel County challenge, on Thursday, February 8. North County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-15 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 2-14 record after their 66-17 league loss to Southern (Harwood, MD).
