Glen Burnie Gophers (Glen Burnie, MD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host North County Knights (Glen Burnie, MD), 64-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Glen Burnie upgrades its record to 7-8 on the season. The Gophers travel to Fallston (Fallston, MD) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 12-4. Fallston lost 50-47 in their recent league bout against Edgewood (Edgewood, MD)

Next up, the Knights clash with the Broadneck Bruins (Annapolis, MD) in a Anne Arundel County bout, on Tuesday, February 6. North County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record.
