Massachusetts High School Basketball - Norwood overwhelms Newton South
February 7, 2024: Newton, MA 02459 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Norwood Mustangs (Norwood, MA) and the host Newton South Lions (Newton, MA), saw Norwood's basketball squad wallop Newton South by a tally of 59-26.
With the victory, Norwood improves its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Westwood (Westwood, MA) to play the Wolverines in a Tri-Valley challenge on Friday, February 9. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 5-11. Westwood lost 49-44 in their recent league challenge against Holliston (Holliston, MA)
Next up, the Lions play the Norwood Mustangs (Norwood, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 16. Newton South will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record.
