Massachusetts High School Ice Hockey - Thayer Academy defeated by Lawrence Academy
February 7, 2024: Groton, MA 01450 In Wednesday's league challenge, the Lawrence Academy Spartans (Groton, MA) ice hockey team bounced the visiting Thayer Academy Tigers (Braintree, MA), by a margin of 6-1.
The Spartans now possess a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Sebastian's School for a challenge on Friday, February 9. Lawrence Academy will clash with a Arrows team coming off a 4-2 league win over Belmont Hill (Belmont, MA). The Arrows record now stands at 15-6.
The Tigers (11-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Belmont Hill (Belmont, MA). The Sextants enter the challenge with a 13-8 record. In their last challenge, Belmont Hill was ripped by St. Sebastian's School (Needham, MA), 4-2, in a league challenge.
