Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Troy victorious over Athens

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Troy Trojans basketball team scored a good 71-52 triumph over the Athens Wildcats.

The Trojans (16-2) will now prepare for their contest against Jersey Shore (Jersey Shore, PA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Jersey Shore topped East Juniata (McAlisterville, PA), 66-53, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Mount Carmel RED TORNADOES (Mount Carmel, PA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 8. Athens will attempt to better on its 8-12 season record. The RED TORNADOES go into the contest with a 17-3 record after their 45-37 non-league win over Southern Columbia Area (Catawissa, PA).
