The Union Local Jets basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Beaver Local Beavers to 55 in the Jets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Jets now possess a 15-5 record. They play next when they travel to Wheeling Central Catholic for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. Union Local will confront a Maroon Knights team coming off a 88-16 non-league win over Oak Glen (New Cumberland, WV). The Maroon Knights record now stands at 13-2.

With the loss, Beaver Local falls to 14-6 on the campaign. The Beavers travel to East Liverpool (East Liverpool, OH) to confront the Potters in a Buckeye 8 game on Tuesday, February 11.
