February 7, 2025: Belvidere, IL 61008 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Guilford Vikings (Rockford, IL) and the host Belvidere North Blue Thunder (Belvidere, IL), observed Guilford's basketball team overwhelm Belvidere North by a score of 54-29.
The Vikings (22-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Harlem (Machesney Park, IL). The Huskies come into the Northern Illinois 10 challenge with a 10-17 record. In their last challenge, Harlem was routed by Rockford East (Rockford, IL), 81-66, in a league challenge.
Next, the Blue Thunder clash with the Belvidere Bucs (Belvidere, IL) in a Northern Illinois 10 test, on Wednesday, February 12. Belvidere North will attempt to upgrade on its 7-21 season record. The Bucs come into the test with a 7-20 record after their 57-46 non-league loss to Sycamore (Sycamore, IL).
