In Friday's league contest, the visiting Hononegah Indians basketball team scored a big 82-28 triumph over the Belvidere Bucs.

The Indians (17-10) will now prepare for their contest against Freeport (Freeport, IL). The Pretzels go into the Northern Illinois 10 contest with a 11-17 record. In their last contest, Freeport was trounced by Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL), 80-57, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bucs confront the Sycamore Spartans (Sycamore, IL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 10. Belvidere will attempt to better on its 7-20 season record. The Spartans go into the contest with a 18-7 record after their 58-53 league loss to Kaneland (Maple Park, IL).
