The Liberty Magnet Patriots were victorious over the visiting Catholic Bears basketball squad by a final score of 52-40 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Patriots face the Zachary Broncos (Zachary, LA) in a 5A District 4 outing, on Tuesday, February 11. Liberty Magnet will attempt to upgrade on its 21-3 season record. The Broncos enter the outing with a 26-5 record after their 71-64 league win over Scotlandville (Baton Rouge, LA).

The Bears (27-2) will now prepare for their outing against Central (Baton Rouge, LA). The Wildcats enter the 5A District 4 outing with a 27-5 record. In their last outing, Central ran past Woodlawn-B.R. (Baton Rouge, LA), 74-43, in a league outing.
