February 7, 2025: West Chester, OH 45069 Lakota West Firebirds (West Chester, OH) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Colerain Cardinals (Cincinnati, OH), 72-39 in a league match.
With the victory, Lakota West upgrades its record to 13-5 on the year. The Firebirds host Middletown (Middletown, OH) to face the Middies in a Greater Miami match on Saturday, February 8. The Middies enter the match with a record of 11-8. Middletown lost 68-59 in their recent league match against Mason (Mason, OH)
The Cardinals now sport a 2-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hamilton for a Greater Miami match on Monday, February 10. Colerain will face a Big Blue squad coming off a 61-56 league loss to Sycamore (Cincinnati, OH). The Big Blue record now stands at 4-15.
