Kentucky High School Basketball - Cordia routs Red Bird
February 7, 2025: Hazard, KY 41701 In Friday's non-league contest, the host Cordia Lions basketball team scored a big 65-43 win over the Red Bird Cardinals.
The Lions (3-18) will now prepare for their contest against Owsley County (Booneville, KY). The Owls / Lady Owls come into the non-league contest with a 8-19 record. In their last contest, Owsley County smashed Lynn Camp (Corbin, KY), 66-45, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 10. Red Bird will attempt to better on its 0-17 season record. The Colonels come into the contest with a 16-8 record after their 86-75 non-league loss to Pineville (Pineville, KY).
