Texas High School Basketball - Italy thwarts Dawson
February 7, 2025: Italy, TX 76651 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Italy Gladiators (Italy, TX) and the visiting Dawson Bulldogs (Dawson, TX), observed Italy's basketball team knock off Dawson by a score of 66-48.
The Gladiators (19-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Frost (Frost, TX). The Polar Bears come into the 2A Region III District 18 challenge with a 8-15 record.
In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Mildred Eagles (Corsicana, TX) in a 2A Region III District 18 challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Dawson will attempt to improve on its 5-19 season record.
