Massachusetts High School Basketball - Leicester toppled by Uxbridge
February 7, 2025: Leicester, MA 01524 Uxbridge Spartans (Uxbridge, MA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Leicester Wolverines (Leicester, MA), 49-35 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Uxbridge upgrades its record to 10-7 on the year. The Spartans travel to Northbridge (Whitinsville, MA) to face the Rams in a South Worcester County - A match on Tuesday, February 11. The Rams enter the match with a record of 13-4. Northbridge won 62-56 in their recent non-league match against Sutton (Sutton, MA)
The Wolverines now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prouty for a South Worcester County - B match on Monday, February 10. Leicester will face a Panthers squad coming off a 68-59 non-league win over Tahanto Regional (Boylston, MA). The Panthers record now stands at 11-5.
