In Friday's league contest, the host Milan Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 54-50 triumph over the Ripley Tigers.

The Bulldogs (5-18) will now prepare for their contest against McKenzie (McKenzie, TN). The Rebels go into the non-league contest with a 11-13 record. In their last contest, McKenzie was tipped by Camden Central (Camden, TN), 59-58, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Westview Chargers (Martin, TN) in a 2A District 14 contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Ripley will attempt to better on its 12-10 season record. The Chargers go into the contest with a 14-9 record after their 64-54 league loss to Peabody (Trenton, TN).
