February 7, 2025: Opelousas, LA 70570 Northwest Raiders (Opelousas, LA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Ville Platte Bulldogs (Ville Platte, LA), 66-38 in a league match.
With the victory, Northwest upgrades its record to 16-12 on the year. The Raiders host Catholic - N.I. (New Iberia, LA) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Saturday, February 8. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 18-16. Catholic - N.I. won 66-33 in their recent league match against Houma Christian (Houma, LA)
The Bulldogs now sport a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mamou for a 3A District 4 match on Monday, February 10.
