The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish (Clarksburg, WV) and the host Pocahontas County Warriors (Dunmore, WV), observed Notre Dame's basketball team overwhelm Pocahontas County by a score of 68-46.

The Fighting Irish (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Cameron (Cameron, WV). The Dragons come into the Ohio Valley AA challenge with a 3-8 record. In their last challenge, Cameron was routed by Parkersburg Catholic (Parkersburg, WV), 53-41, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Harman Panthers (Harman, WV) in a Potomac Valley A challenge, on Monday, February 10. Pocahontas County will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 47-28 non-league win over Heritage Christian (Bridgeport, WV).
