February 7, 2025: Mt. Zion, WV 26151 Calhoun Red Devils (Mt. Zion, WV) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Webster County Highlanders (Upper Glade, WV), 54-53 in a league match.
With the victory, Calhoun upgrades its record to 8-9 on the year. The Red Devils host Wahama (Mason, WV) to face the White Falcons in a non-league match on Monday, February 10. The White Falcons enter the match with a record of 12-5. Wahama won 43-35 in their recent league match against Wirt County (Elizabeth, WV)
The Highlanders now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tygarts Valley for a non-league match on Monday, February 10. Webster County will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 43-35 league loss to East Hardy (Baker, WV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-6.
