Arkansas High School Basketball - Carlisle triumphant over Des Arc
February 7, 2025: Carlisle, AR 72024 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Carlisle Bison (Carlisle, AR) and the visiting Des Arc Eagles (Des Arc, AR), observed Carlisle's basketball team overwhelm Des Arc by a score of 44-22.
The Bison (16-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Cross County (Cherry Valley, AR). The Thunderbirds come into the non-league challenge with a 12-16 record. In their last challenge, Cross County trounced Corning (Corning, AR), 46-44, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Brinkley Tigers (Brinkley, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Des Arc will attempt to improve on its 7-15 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 7-13 record after their 46-28 league loss to Clarendon (Clarendon, AR).
