In Friday's league test, the Sweetwater Red Devils (National City, CA) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Castle Park Trojans (Chula Vista, CA), by a score of 38-27.

Next, the Red Devils encounter the San Ysidro Cougars (San Diego, CA) in a Metro - South Bay test, on Tuesday, February 11. Sweetwater will attempt to improve on its 6-12 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 4-19 record after their 36-34 league loss to Mar Vista (Imperial Beach, CA).
