Dakota Cougars (Macomb, MI) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI), 39-36 in a league match.

With the victory, Dakota advances its record to 7-10 on the year. The Cougars host River Rouge (River Rouge, MI) to meet the Panthers in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 6-6.
