Oklahoma High School Basketball - Putnam City thwarts Deer Creek
February 7, 2025: Oklahoma City, OK 73122 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Putnam City Pirates (Oklahoma City, OK) and the visiting Deer Creek Antlers (Edmond, OK), observed Putnam City's basketball team knock off Deer Creek by a score of 53-37.
The Pirates (6-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Mustang (Mustang, OK). The Broncos come into the 6A District 1 challenge with a 14-4 record. In their last challenge, Mustang prevailed over Deer Creek (Edmond, OK), 67-53, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Antlers battle the Grant Generals (Oklahoma City, OK) in a 6A District 1 challenge, on Friday, February 7. Deer Creek will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record. The Generals come into the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 63-30 league loss to Putnam City (Oklahoma City, OK).
