East Hardy Cougars (Baker, WV) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Tygarts Valley Bulldogs (Mill Creek, WV), 43-35 in a league match.

With the victory, East Hardy upgrades its record to 8-6 on the year. The Cougars host Northern Garrett (Accident, MD) to face the Huskies in a non-league match on Monday, February 10. The Huskies enter the match with a record of 8-8. Northern Garrett won 59-23 in their recent non-league match against Bishop Walsh (Cumberland, MD)

The Bulldogs now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Webster County for a non-league match on Monday, February 10. Tygarts Valley will face a Highlanders squad coming off a 54-53 league loss to Calhoun (Mt. Zion, WV). The Highlanders record now stands at 8-7.
