February 7, 2025: New Orleans, LA 70117 The Edna Karr Cougars basketball team scored 60 points and limited the host Frederick A. Douglass Bobcats to 47 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now possess a 25-4 record. They play next when they travel to Walker for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. Edna Karr will play a Wildcats team coming off a 77-64 league win over St. Amant (St. Amant, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 29-1.
With the loss, Frederick A. Douglass falls to 15-6 on the campaign. The Bobcats host McDonogh 35 (New Orleans, LA) to play the Roneagles in a 4A District 10 game on Monday, February 10. The Roneagles go into the game with a record of 7-13. McDonogh 35 lost 50-40 in their recent league game against Carver Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA)
