The Mt. Shasta Bears basketball squad (Mt. Shasta, CA), was crushed 62-40 in Friday's league battle with the host Fall River Bulldogs (McArthur, CA)

With the victory, Fall River advances its record to 10-10 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Etna (Etna, CA) to meet the Lions in a Shasta Cascade battle on Saturday, February 8. The Lions enter the battle with a record of 7-15. Etna lost 42-31 in their recent league battle against Mt. Shasta (Mt. Shasta, CA)

The Bears now own a 3-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host Modoc for a Shasta Cascade battle on Tuesday, February 11. Mt. Shasta will meet a Braves squad coming off a 47-35 league loss to Weed (Weed, CA). The Braves record now stands at 17-8.
