February 7, 2025: Higginsville, MO 64037 Lafayette County Huskers (Higginsville, MO) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Knob Noster Panthers (Knob Noster, MO), 47-46 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Lafayette County advances its record to 10-11 on the year. The Huskers travel to Lexington (Lexington, MO) to meet the Minutemen in a Missouri River Valley - East match on Tuesday, February 11. The Minutemen enter the match with a record of 9-13. Lexington lost 60-48 in their recent league match against Carrollton (Carrollton, MO)
The Panthers now own a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richmond for a Missouri River Valley - East match on Monday, February 10. Knob Noster will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 54-30 league win over Holden (Holden, MO). The Spartans record now stands at 6-12.
