California High School Basketball - Steele Canyon knocks off Grossmont
February 7, 2025: El Cajon, CA 92021 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA) and the host Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA), observed Steele Canyon's basketball team overcome Grossmont by a margin of 29-17.
The Cougars (18-4) will now prepare for their challenge against El Capitan (Lakeside, CA). The Vaqueros come into the challenge with a 17-5 record. In their last challenge, El Capitan defeated Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA), 51-25, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Foothillers battle the Granite Hills Eagles (El Cajon, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Grossmont will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record.
