The Hornets (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Corpus Christi Moody (Corpus Christi, TX). The Trojans go into the 5A Region 4 District 29 challenge with a 0-9 record. In their last challenge, Corpus Christi Moody by Ray (Corpus Christi, TX), 5-0, in a league challenge.
With the loss, King moves to 8-7 on the year. The Mustangs host Gregory-Portland (Portland, TX) to encounter the Wildcats in a 5A Region 4 District 29 challenge on Tuesday, February 11. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 11-2. Gregory-Portland won 4-1 in their recent league challenge against Flour Bluff (Corpus Christi, TX)
