The Standley Lake Gators ice hockey team scored 12 points and held the visiting Mullen Mustangs to 0 in the Gators league victory on Friday.

The Gators now own a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Monarch for a non-league bout on Monday, February 10. Standley Lake will play a Coyotes team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Poudre School District (Fort Collins, CO). The Coyotes record now stands at 10-4.

With the defeat, Mullen moves to 3-12 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Resurrection Christian (Loveland, CO) to play the Cougars in a non-league contest on Saturday, February 8.
