In Friday's non-league contest, the host William Monroe Dragons basketball team scored a good 53-42 triumph over the Harrisonburg Blue Streaks.

The Dragons (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 2-17 record. In their last contest, Rockbridge County was toppled by Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA), 42-23, in a non-league contest.
