February 7, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87110 La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM), 85-70 in a non-league match.
With the victory, La Cueva advances its record to 4-4 on the year. The Bears host Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM) to meet the Golden Eagles in a non-league match on Wednesday, February 12. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a record of 5-9. Eldorado won 67-21 in their recent non-league match against Manzano (Albuquerque, NM)
The Matadors now own a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Capital for a non-league match on Wednesday, February 12. Sandia will meet a Jaguars squad coming off a 58-44 non-league loss to Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-9.
