Texas High School Soccer - Granbury toppled by Aledo
February 7, 2025: Aledo, TX 76008 Aledo Bearcats (Aledo, TX) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Granbury Pirates (Granbury, TX), 6-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Aledo moves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Azle (Azle, TX) to clash with the Hornets in a 5A Region 1 District 5 test on Tuesday, February 11. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 1-10. Azle lost 5-0 in their recent league test against Brewer (Fort Worth, TX)
The Pirates now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Chisholm Trail for a 5A Region 1 District 5 test on Tuesday, February 11. Granbury will clash with a Rangers team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Saginaw (Saginaw, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 4-9.
