Texas High School Soccer - Springtown nudged by Castleberry
February 7, 2025: Springtown, TX 76082 Castleberry Lions (Fort Worth, TX) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Springtown Porcupines (Springtown, TX), 1-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Castleberry advances its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Lions host Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX) to clash with the Falcons in a 4A Region 1 District 8 test on Tuesday, February 11. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 10-3. Lake Dallas won 5-0 in their recent league test against Eagle Mountain (Fort Worth, TX)
The Porcupines now have a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Collegiate Academy at TCC Northeast for a 4A Region 1 District 8 test on Tuesday, February 11. Springtown will clash with a Phoenix team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Lake Worth (Lake Worth, TX). The Phoenix record now stands at 2-5.
